The very FIRST edition of LIFE Magazine dated November 23, 1936
This is the Promo sized copy measuring 6.5 inches wide and 8 5/8ths inches high.

It is chock full of fun and introduces the magazine and promises "Charter Subscribers" great things to come.

The magazine is filled with snapshots of the times and lots of really interesting photos too!
It was fun for me to see the car, liquor, and cigarette ads...along with sporting events, stars, and worldly events of the times.

There is very minor wear to the edges and i found no rips or tears at all. Minor bending at top and bottom corners.

A fun gift for one who loves a glimpse of the times or for a museum or collector.
