Rare Art Deco Victorian Edwardian small brooch of a Polo Player Essex Crystal mounted on a Sterling Riding Crop.
Check out the extra silver work detail on beautiful handle of crop! The brooch is marked Sterling on both the crystal back and the crop. It has a unique and secure clasp. This unusual and rare antique jewelry piece is in excellent condition with the exception of a void in the UR area of the silver mounting as seen in the photos. This does not detract from the beauty or wearability of the brooch at all and is barely visible. I have adjusted the price accordingly. The Rock Crystal is in perfect antique condition and very secure.
These Essex Crystals are getting harder to find! I have seen one other polo player pin, in 14K popular gold, and it was going for over $500! A collectable piece of jewelry for the Equestrian and horse lover at heart. You will love wearing it or giving it to that special someone!
