This absolutely stunning horse brooch (made c. 1990s, based on design from 50/60's) is in excellent/perfect condition in solid sterling silver (hallmarked as sterling.) It depicts a galloping horse among flowers in a very much 'Art Nouveau'-style; it is also made in the style of popular famous Danish jeweller *Georg Jensen. This is a simply exquisite piece - perfect for horses lovers of course or anyone who just enjoys unusual and delightfully whimsical and attractive Scandinavian-style brooches!
The brooch measures approx. 1 1/2 " wide x just over 1" length (4 cm x 2.2 cm.) It has a strong, straight and secure roll-over clasp on the back where the hallmarking of 'Sterling Denmark' can clearly be seen. It weighs just over 6g.
These kind of brooches do not come up very often so don't miss out on the opportunity to purchase whilst at the excellent sale price currently in my shop!
