About the Painting:
My inspiration for this painting is a beautiful pink clematis vine that grows in my yard. I painted these beauties vertically as they grow, creeping up the fence post. I used blues and purples to create a cloudless summer sky to contrast against popular the pink flowers. Mixtures of pinks, purples, yellows, and greens were used to paint these beautiful summer flowers.
