Dimensions: Frame - 16.5x18.5, site 7.5x9.5. Gorgeous wooden frame, some spotting on canvas popular matting. It is very good overall condition. Adele Watson was born in Ohio and studied at the Art Students League in New York and with Raphael Collin in Paris. She spent the first part of her career in New York and moved to Pasadena, CA by 1917, where she became known for her landscapes. Her work exhibits the style of Early French Modernism. She was a member of the American Artists Professional League.
