HAND-TUNED WIND CHIMES

These indoor wind chimes are a luxurious combination of brass and larch.

The wind chimes are tuned on a pentatonic scale, according to the Pythagorean tuning system. Pythagorean tuning is an ancient, currently rarely used tuning system, which is famous for mathematically perfect consonance of notes that cannot be found in standard western music tuning. To tune wind chimes we also use the pentatonic scale, common in folk music, which allows any combination of notes to always sound harmonious.
