Absolutely charming teapot made by Ebeling & Reuss in Germany for import to the USA.Commissioned by Erph8da in Ph8dadelph8a.Teapot depicts a terrier dog sitting up on her hind legs with her front paws forming the spout. Adorned with a wonderful pink bow handle.There are a series of these animal teapots made fa m the 1920s through the late 1940s.This one does not bear the Erph8da logo - just the word Germany and an impressed style number 6702B so I believe it to be earlier production.Height 8"Width (including spout & handle) 6.5"Depth 3"Condition is very good - there are no chips, cracks, repairs, or stains. There is age-related crazing in the glaze.Recommended for decoration only.
