1950s Corduroy Floral Pumps by Hutchings

Superb pumps in a floral cotton corduroy, which were possibly made to match a high end garment.
The pumps are classic late 50s with a slightly rounded vamp coming to a pointed toe, the sides dip at the instep almost to D'orsay levels. 4 inch stiletto heel with a metal tip. Leather soles and lining. Hutchings are a small but high quality London manufacturer who's heyday was in the late 40s and 50s.

Very good, lightly worn condition.

Vintage shoe sizes can vary a lot, both from modern and contemporary sizes, depending where and when they were made and design details such as the shape of the toe and height of the heel.
There are also differences in modern comparison charts depending on which country you live in. I will always quote my estimate of a modern equivalent and list the length and width in inches so you can compare them to a pair that fits you.

They are all wearable unless otherwise stated. I check that the soles and uppers are well glued, that any synthetic soles are flexible and there is a decent amount of heel tip left.
If they have been re-heeled and soled I will tell you. Any faults will be noted. I usually polish/clean them where needed.
I try to date them honestly. I won't tell you they're 30s if they're 50s, etc etc.
