Vintage Erica Courtney Swarovski Crystal Embellished Watch with Black Leather Wristband, 1980's popular Designer Rhinestone Watch for Her

This beautiful watch is from one of the very first collections designed by Erica Courtney in the early 1980's. Her name is stamped on the gold timepiece, which features genuine marquise cut Swarovski crystals with a black genuine leather strap.

It's hard to believe that the watch is a good 38 years old given the great condition of both the timepiece and the strap - although the strap is slightly worn as shown in the pictures. It has a brand new battery and is fully functional.

Back in 1984, Erika featured Swarovski crystals on everything from sunglasses and watches, to bandanas and bustiers. Her line was actually represented in the very same showroom as mine when I did outrageous earrings - also using Swarovski crystals. I ended up purchasing four of her watches. They were supposed to be for resale, but I couldn't resist keeping them for myself. Even in those days they were expensive. I would get so many compliments whenever I wore them.

I have not seen any others around like this. Probably because nobody wants to give them up!!
