NEEDLE FELTED RABBIT and Felt Dog/Cute Felt Hare/Primitive Artist Doll/Unique popular Valentine Gift/Woodland Hare 'Bluebell and Billy'

BLUEBELL likes to sing 'I'm Feelin' Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue, I'm Feelin' Blue, Blue, Blue - all day long - it get's a little annoying but she's such a little character - everyone eventually forgives her - including her faithful little dog BILLIE!!

She is wearing her favourite colours - a blue 'top' and cream skirt - both made from recycled vintage gloves - as is her rather wacky hat and handbag and has a single pearl pendant around her long graceful neck!!

BLUEBELL is 15 inches tall x 3.5 inches wide (Excluding her long ears) and BILLIE is 5 inches long x 2.5 inches tall. They are very densely needle felted and both have extremely strong armatures which make them really fun to bend and twist!! They would make a really unique gift for Valentines Day - or anyone who loves rabbits!!

All my creations are entirely handmade by me and it takes many, many happy hours of loving 'stabbing' with needles and wool to create each little individual character - no two are ever remotely the same - I often feel they make themselves and they are always totally unique!!!! Each 'creature' is an individual work of art!!

I popular have endless fun 'collecting and playing' with textiles, lace, jewellery and accessories, especially antique leather gloves - which I hoard and pull out when I'm ready to dress one of my large rabbits!!

My pieces are intended as decorative display items rather than toys, the nature of their construction means they are slightly fragile and they are not suitable for young children. My work has been published in a five page feature article in 'Discover Dolls' Magazine in the February 2020 Issue - a copy of which can be seen underneath my reviews!!
