0540----c.1943 Lloyd Waltrip USN photo Farragut Station - from Alton popular IL Wood River IL

Excellent original WWII era USN signed photo identified as "Lloyd F. Waltrip"
taken at the Farragut Naval Training Station, Idaho, 1943.
I have other photos from the same collection, so I was able to determine the location and year.
Signed by Waltrip "To A Shipmate."
I tilted the photo toward the light for a closeup of the signing.
From researching Waltrip it appears he lived in the Alton IL for several years,
before he moved to Mesa AZ where he passed in 2014 at the age of 97.
We thank him for his service.

The BW photo is in VG condition and measures 5 x 3-1/2.
