This is a beautiful Bakelite cameo. It was made circa 1940-1950. This cameo has been tested with Simichrome Polish. We got the formaldehyde smell and the cloth turned yellow so we know it is real Bakelite. Both the coral face and the tortoiseshell casing were tested. This cameo measures 1 1/2” across and 1 3/4” tall. There is a glue spot on the back (see pic 5). Please refer to all the popular pictures and ask any questions you may have before purchasing.
