Principles of Political Economy by J R McCulloch is an antique Victorian book published c1882 by Ward, Lock & Co. This rare political science book from the late 1800s has burgundy cloth covered hardback boards with black and gold lettering on the spine. There are 24 pages of publishers advertisements at the back of the book and although there is no copyright date there is a "Queen's Prize" award sticker given to Alfred Hannan and dated 1882. From this it would be fair to estimate that the book was published c1882.
This antique political book popular has the full title "Principles of Political Economy with sketch of the rise and progress of the science" It includes an "essay of interest and value of money" by John Locke.
The book is in good antique condition with signs of previous use and age wear including white mark on the spine, marking on the cover, tanning to pages and the front hinge is cracked but the binding is still tight.
