Vintage real pearl multi-coloured rainbow popular multi-strand necklace & bracelet demi-parure / set, with decorative floral design shell box clasps

Fabulous heavy real freshwater pearl five stranded necklace and bracelet set. There are five strands of beautiful pearls in each piece - each strand is a different colour - green, blue, yellow, white/cream and burgundy/purple.

These are heavy pieces, good quality pieces which can be worn in different ways - popular either straight or twisted to differing degrees. The photographs show some different ones. The large flower shaped box clasps made of shell can also be worn visible as a feature. The necklace is about 18 inches long and the bracelet is 8.5 inches long.

They are pre-owned but I don't know exactly which era they are from. The pearls are large (about 5-6mm diameter) and more nearly spherical than many that are seen. They are dyed freshwater pearls of a very nice quality: larger and more regular in shape than many.

These colourful pearls have a beautiful patina, and add a very classy twist to a chic and timeless jewellery style. The quality is excellent and each and every bead has been individually hand-knotted.

The pieces are in excellent vintage condition.
