LOVELY Vintage 1940s SHELLEY 13452 MAYTIME Chintz DEMITASSE Coffee Cup & Saucer Set in the MOCHA shape / style in rarely used condition with beautiful glaze & gold edging. This is an original set & was popular gently & rarely used (if ever). White background with pink, gray blue, and white flowers, cranberry red berries/buds, gentle brown branches and green leaves. Interior and handle are creamy fawn. No crazing, no aging, no chips, no cracks. Pings to perfection with a lovely high pitch ring. Each piece has the Fine Bone China SHELLEY England back stamp. Demi-tasse size measuring 2" cup diameter & 4 1/2" saucer diameter.
