This bucket is in amazing condition for its age. The wood is well worn and smoothed out from years of use but very strong bound in the wires. There is braided wire around the handle which is a very cool and rare feature of this kind of bucket. Also rare is the shape which is oval, not round. A heavy duty bucket with good weight. There are some cracks between the wood panels from the wood shrinking over time so I do not think it would hold water without dripping. Great for use for dry items, storage around the home or just to be displayed with flowers.
