A Beautiful Design, With a Heavy Bulbous Handle in Plain Mother of Pearl on Both Sides, Both Blade and popular Shield Nameplate Have Been Engraved and Can Be Seen as Gifted For a Silver Wedding Anniversary November 21st 1893.
Unfortunately The Blade Has Suffered Some Damage To The End of The Blade Which Has Been Captured In a Couple of Photographs.
This Fruit Knife Was Hallmarked in Sheffield, 1892 With Makers Mark CWF - Charles William Fletcher
First Registered in May 1855 at Arundel Street, Sheffield
Open Measurement is Approximately 16.3cm, Closed 9.3cm and Blade 7.2cm.
The Mother of Pearl Width Graduates From 10.3mm to 15mm.
There Are No Chips or Noticeable Scratches To Either Side of The Mother of Pearl.
All in all a lovely little collectable piece that will give the new owner lots of joy!
