Italian Bitossi Rimini Blue round dish bowl Aldo Londi Flavia Made in Italy Mid-century Ceramic Blue glaze popular Diameter 20cm

popular Vintage Italian Bitossi round dish from the Rimini Blue range. The diameter of the bowl measures approximately 20 centimetres and it's height 4.5 centimetres. The dish is stamped on the base with 'Italy' and has handwritten numbers 506/22. Rimini Blue range, launched in 1959, was designed by Aldo Londi and manufactured by Bitossi. The range is known for its striking rich royal blue and turquoise colours and its imprinted textured surface.
The bowl is in good, used vintage condition. The surface has many tiny irregularities and unevenness but no visible cracks or chips. There are tiny nibbles around the edge and also some crazing. The last photo shows a dent on the rim - this has happened during manufacturing as it is underneath the glaze. Please see the photos.
