Footed platter hand turned from Figured Walnut. This platter is decorated with an inset textured area in the center and a textured band around the outside. These features nicely complement the natural beauty of the figured wood and the small amount of lighter sapwood on one side of the platter. The platter is coated with a combination of beeswax, carnauba wax, and walnut oil that leaves a food safe satin finish. To keep your bowl looking beautiful we suggest reapplying a fresh coat of walnut oil when it starts to look worn. In addition to holding fruit, this piece can also be used to display home decor.
This platter is approximately 9 1/4" at the rim and a little over 2" tall.
