I have used sheep's wool to fill the doll, and cotton fabric for the skin, shirt and pants (baby corduroy) - all certified ORGANIC. Sources: www.greenfibres.co.uk, www.siebenblau.de, www.bishopstontrading.co.uk, www.waldorfdolls.co.uk.

The cotton yarn I have used for the hair comes from Peru (http://www.perunaturtex.com/) where the cotton grows organically (without the use of any pesticides, certified by SKAL) in several naturally occurring shades of white, brown and green. The hair is therefore a combination of a natural, brown shade and white which I have myself dyed yellow with eco-friendly, baby-safe dyes by German brand Oekonorm.

The outfit includes: one shirt, one pair of pants, one cardigan and one pompom hat. They shirt and pants are both elasticated and can be easily put on/off (along the body, not the head).

I have washed all fabric with eco-friendly detergent prior to crafting.

Age: Not suitable for children who chew on their toys and most suitable for children 3+.

NOTE: Would you like this doll in a VEGAN version? I can fill it with natural, wildgrowing kapok and use organic cotton for the hair and clothes. This means spot cleaning only. Please write to me to specify your vegan choice.

Care: I recommend spot cleaning plus blow drying, plus keep the doll away from mealtimes, the sandpit and the bath. The doll can be washed, but drying may be difficult, especially the head. The popular clothes are fully washable on gentle cycle or by hand with mild soap.
