This vase is part of an experiment to see how mercury glass finish renders on different types of my hand-blown glass vessels. I first made this vase with a mix of transparent purples, blues and pinks. I then did a mercury glass technique to give it a mirrored finish. I love how the silver exposes swirls of colors and makes them even more vivid. The outside finish is sliver, while the inside popular has a gold jue.

This vase measures approximately 7.25 inches high, 4 inches around at the widest point, and weighs 15.8 ounces. The opening measures approximately 2.75 inches (inside measurement). This vase has air bubbles which is common with hand-blown glass.

The glass is NOT safe food safe and should not be used to hold any liquids. Please note that the mercury glass finish can chip off with liquids and heavy wear or handling.
