Antique African Hand Carved Wood Female Figure/Sculpture.

This is a stunning hand carved wood sculpture. Very well done by hand. Made from hard wood. They popular are beautifully carved and finished well. It is in very good condition. Parts painted black and this may have extended to the hair in the past, but now faded. Natural flaws that you would expect from a hand carved work. The figure is wearing a tradional styled hair. It is old and with it shows natural wear and flaws, but no more than you would expect, and has a lovely patina. Very heavy.

This is a one off item.

A great collector piece, or a wonderful creative gift for someone.
