70's High Waist Bell Bottom Flare Jeans, Medium Blue, 'KBV' Label, Marked Size 7/8, popular with Flap Front Mini-Pocket

Great pair of 1970's High-waist Bell Bottoms, KBV [or KB Roman Numeral V] label. They have one small front pocket with a flap that closes with a button and loop at the right front. A matching pocket is at the left back. It appears the button at the fly was moved slightly to give a little more room, but could easily be returned to its original position. The zipper is a ‘VKK' brand.

The wash is a medium blue and the denim is medium weight.

I estimate this would best fit a modern size XS – they are marked size 7/8 - but please go by measurements below.

NOTE: Measurements are taken lying flat from the outside, then doubled for bust/waist/hips. Generally, you will want to be smaller than these measurements to allow for room to move.

Waist: 24 ½” [button can be moved to gain about ½”]

Condition is very good. They have been washed and are ready to wear. These are in quite nice broken-in condition, with just tiny few bleach [or white paint splatters] and a couple holes near the hem of one inseam. Photo #10 shows the 3 small white marks, located at upper right thigh in two views. There is one darker line approximately 6” up from right hem. There are two holes near the left inseam – one is frayed and about 3/8” round, the other is much smaller and nearer the hem. There is a white hem-line 1 ½” from the hem – fortunately the previous owner did not cut off the original hem. The button was moved out [and up] just a bit from original position – this is easily returned. One 2” section where the stitching is loose from the outside leg flat-felled seam – it's in the over-stitched section, so it's just a matter of re-stitching.

This item comes from a smoke-free home with one wee non-shedding, hypo-allergenic dog. All vintage clothing has had a previous life; I am merely the conduit to its new life, so most items will show some signs of age and wear.
