In my “Faces” series, I explore the visceral side of human expression. By leaning in a little too close, a normal display of emotion can become both grotesque popular and alluring. The “Faces” series pushes the boundaries of personal space in a bright and playful way.

Loverboy is #4 in the “Faces” series. He always seems to be sighing, and lost in thought.

All paintings in the “Faces” series are totally unique, original paintings. There will never be another painting exactly like yours. “Faces” are made with gouache paint on a heavyweight paper.
