The simple inlay on the lid gives it a distinctive, classy look. The box opens smoothly and easily with the barrel hinges. The bottom of the box is lined with black velveteen. If you are looking for a place to store your small valuables, look no further!

Materials used in constructing this box are walnut, maple and figured walnut. The finish is precatalyzed lacquer, commercial grade, like that which is used on fine furniture. I apply two coats popular of lacquer, hand-sanding between each coat. This finish provides a very durable finish which will last for years and years.

Box dimensions: 8 1/2" wide, 3 1/2" deep, and 2 1/2" tall
Inside measurements are 7 3/8" wide, 2 1/2" deep, and 1 3/4" tall.
