Amazing RARE vintage ‘50s Hawaiian tiki dress! This dress looks adorable on, much cuter in person.

Made in Honolulu by Tropicana. Estimating this to be from the ‘50s but could be “60s.
Looks great worn as a tent dress or can be worn belted.
**Color is well represented in most photos- it's not washed out like the last photo.

Butter yellow with a beautiful tropical tiki floral & bamboo print in brown, black & mustard. Colors are vibrant.

Made of a very nice soft woven all-cotton. This is a nice quality vintage piece!

Dress features split cap sleeves and a rounded neckline. There is brown piping all around the neck under which the fabric is tightly gathered, giving the dress its fullness!
One deep hip pocket, unlined. Cute little vintage label!

✂️ No size label, I think it will popular best fit a S/M. I typically wear an XS or petite S and this fits me, just a little roomy. As for the body, can fit those with fuller lower bodies, it's a full silhouette.
Measured laying flat, seam to seam, not doubled. Please compare measurements against a garment that fits you well, as all sales on vintage are final.

Across chest: 19” flat (x2) Though because of the tight gathering, there is more room here.
Shoulders: 14”
Cap sleeves are tough to measure properly as they are split in the middle.
Across hips, flat seam to seam: @26”
Total length, high shoulder to bottom hem: 52”
Across bottom sweep: 33” (x2)

Excellent vintage condition with the gentlest of wear and no issues.
