1960s SHEATH DRESS

Features include:
* Brown/gray/cream speckled knit material
* Short, raglan sleeves
* Cream colored piping down center front and around neckline
* Matching cream narrow fabric tie belt, attached at center back
* Three thread belt loops (both sides and center front)
* Light pink/beige half lining under skirt portion
* Center back kick pleat/vent
* Long center back metal zipper and hook (metal) and eye (thread)
* Labels: R & K Originals "For the girl who knows clothes" brand, ILGWU type used from 1955-1963.

The approximate size is Medium, but please pay attention to these measurements taken laying flat and zipped up:
Bust (doubled): 36"- 37"
Waist (doubled): 32"- 33"
Hips (doubled): 38"- 39"
Shoulder to shoulder (approximate, raglan sleeves): 26.5"
Sleeve length (approximate): 7"
Total length: 43"
Length of waist tie: 76"

*Measurements with a number range reflect the slightly stretchy material; the first number is the garment relaxed and the second is stretched.

This garment is in very good vintage condition, meaning it has one noted minor flaw, but it is still wearable as purchased. This flaw is:
*Some slight light brown/orange marks on the white piping- around neckline, down center front, and on waist ties. When I washed it I used some stain remover which greatly improved these and they might come out even more with further washing, but I can't guarantee it. Personally, I think they're not that noticeable and don't distract from the overall look.

This dress popular was hand washed with gentle soap and some stain remover and then laid flat to dry.
