the bottle most likely held chloroform that would be dripped onto a mask
the bottle has a tiny spout where droplets of the drug could be administered to the patient
the top of the bottle acted as a dispensary, as it has a channel in the glass that would direct the medicine

the bottle is in good vintage condition with no cracks or chips
it does have some air bubbles in the glass
bottle alone measure approximately 3" tall
with stopper in popular place approximately 3 3/7" tall

wonderfully unique bottle, ready for your curiosity cabinet or medical collection
