Product code: Hummel Figurines 141/I and 142/I Apple Tree Girl & Apple Tree Boy 6 1/2" Made in Germany TMK-3 popular Excellent

Here for you is a beautiful pair of "Six Inch" Hummel "Apple Tree Girl" and "Apple Tree Boy" figurines #141/1 and 142/1. TMK 3, made from 1960 - 1972. They have that unique look you only see in the older pieces. Excellent vintage condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some light crazing in the underside of the boy's base, which is quite common for this age. Approximately 6" tall, with 2 1/2" x 2 3/4" oval base. A girl in a red polka dot scarf and a boy in a blue very German looking outfit, are each sitting in their trees smiling and enjoying the day. These are some popular of the more collectable and well know Hummel figurines. They will make a wonderful addition to any collection - or an awesome GIFT for that special someone! I was thinking what a perfect Nursery gift for a set of twins!

Thanks for rummaging through my closet. I hope you have time to check out my other treasures, and come back soon.

DID YOU KNOW: A major change in the way the bee is rendered in the trademark made its appearance in 1960. The Stylized Bee (TMK-3), sometimes abbreviated as Sty-Bee when written, as the major component of the trademark appeared in three basic forms through 1972. The first two are both classified as the Stylized Bee (TMK-3). The Small Stylized Bee: This mark is considered to be TMK-3. It was used concurrently with the Large Stylized Bee from about 1960 and continued in this use until about 1972. Note that the “W. Germany” appears centered beneath the V and bee. The mark is usually rendered in blue. Collectors and dealers sometimes refer to the mark as the One Line Mark.
