Latigo Leather Saddle popular Hornbags

These handcrafted, hand stitched horn bags are made of beautiful latigo leather. This is a medium soft leather that is processed with oils to make a good water resistant leather that is dyed a burgundy brown. I stitch them with waxed thread so the seams are watertight.
The bags measure 7x7inches and the gusset is 2 inches wide.
I made some for myself 25 years ago and although they look well broken in, they are still popular sturdy and still keep the contents secure and dry.

Fill it with snacks, a hoof pick, a first aid kit maps and a compass. Then throw it over the saddlehorn and head out on the trail.
