1970s popular Mid-Century Modern Glass Lamp Thingy

This was at one time a hanging pendant lamp from 1960s or 70s. The other parts were garbage but I kept because I think it is pretty cool and someone could do something with it artistically or perhaps make a popular lamp. It is 20" high and about 12" diameter at thickest point.
