This eliminates the stretching of the material when worn.I iron out any creases from drying and stretching.Then the button is chosen and darned to the purse. Some of my buttons are old ,new, bought, given, found and handmade. I use wool and experiment with blended wools popular, silk ,tweed,mohair and noveltites yarns. The only material that is sewed is the esthermaycreations silk tags on inside of the purses.
