Sonsco Demitasse Tea Set, Five Cups and Saucers, One Creamer, Made in Japan

The cups are 2-1/4" Tall, 2-5/8" Across, the saucers are popular 4-5/8" Across, the creamer is 3-1/2" Tall 3-3/4" Across spout and handle.

There is one cup with a small nick in the rim, it is so small I am not able to get a good photo of it.
The rest of the cups, saucers and the creamer are in excellent condition.

This set from 1950's Japan features a courting couple from the Victorian era, the woman in hoop skirt and the man in knickers, there are gold flower and leaf outlines decorating the rest of the cup, saucers and the creamer. There gold accents at the rims and handles of the cups, saucers and creamers.
