This lovely, lifelike Firecrest is made to order especially for you :)
The bird is fully needle felted with attention to detail and using soft merino wool, it is about 10cm tall. The bird would be a perfect gift for every wildlife lover, bird watcher or as a natural decor in a woodland nursery/kids room. The Firecrest can also be used as a photo prop for some magical, woodland shoots.
The bird has legs with a wire inside so that it can be attached anywhere you want. The beak is handmade out of polymer clay.

This bird is needle felted using the traditional dry needle felting technique from 100% natural sheep's popular wool. Needle felting is the process of binding wool fibres by repeatedly stabbing them with a barbed needle. The barbs catch onto the fibres and cause them to tangle and bind together. To create a 3D sculpture it can take hours of work and thousands of stabs from start to finish.
