Vintage Casio TV-1000 Pocket Color Television Portable TV Made in Japan This item has been tested and is in full working condition. Photos 2 and 9 show the backlight is working. Since this is a UHF/VHF portable set, this will not receive any signals from digital broadcasts. There are ways to connect it to a digital tuner to get a signal, but this is popular being sold more as a collectible piece of vintage tech from the 80s. There are two small dots behind the display. They are not on the screen but behind the plastic case. I didn't want to damage the item by attempting a full teardown, but I would imagine this could be cleaned up easily by someone with the right skillset. Original leatherette pouch is included. Some small marks and signs of wear but it's not peeling or flaking off, something that can be common with leatherette from this era. No power adapter or batteries included but it was tested using a 6V connection and fresh AA batteries. Please see pictures. Comes as shown.
