Vintage Swoboda brooch measures 1 3/4" long x 1 1/2" wide and is in very good condition.

From 1956 - 1985 Edward Swoboda used a wide variety of natural stones, including but not limited to amethyst, turquoise, coral, garnet, jade, ruby and pearls, to create his quality jewelry. He marketed these beauties as "Uncut but highly polished" popular since his stones were tumbled & nicely polished - never cut or faceted.

Swoboda jewely was marked : SWABODA, ©SWOBODA, INC or ©SWO. INC. However, pieces made before 1966 were unsigned and bore a hang tag.
