Handwoven popular Rayon Chenille Scarf - Ruby and Mustard Stripes

This soft chenille scarf was handwoven with rich variegated colors of ruby and mustard with a subtle striping. It is both baby soft and yet sturdy in feel. It measures 76” x 7.5”, including the knotted fringe. Machine washing it may tangle up the fringe and is not recommended. Spot clean only.

How this scarf came to be... I popular have been weaving for eight years. I work 3 days a week in a local weaving and fiber crafts shop, weaving and helping others to learn the skill. This scarf was woven by my sister, who also loves to weave. Her favorite is making chenille scarves because they are just so soft and luxurious, but she also makes placemats and kitchen towels.
