This listing is for a preowned ... antique Syrup Pitcher from HALL, ELTON & CO. of WALLINGFORD, CONN. The "TRIPLE PLATE" Pitcher is marked as such on the bottom popular along with "180" ... and, a "PATENTED ... OCT 24, 1965" reference.
Jacob Hall and William Elton formed the Company in 1836 and operated for several decades at Wallingford under this logo. Research shows they held the Patent for the unique handle on this piece. Others sold the piece after 1865 under similar but different labels. Hall, Elton & Co. concentrated more on their German Silver flatware and eventually became part of the International Silver Co.
The 7 3/4" Pitcher ... over 150 years old ... very good condition with minimal marks from manufacture, use, handling, and storage. It displays nicely and is ready for your use/collection. Please look at the pictures; they are the best part of the description.
