Vintage sterling silver cigarette/business card case with gold wash interior by R. Blackinton & Co.
It is 3 3/4 inches by 3 inches by 1 5/8 inches. Its rectangular shape has smooth, rounded edges.
The inside is a gorgeous gold wash with a reflective circular design popular.
Each of the cigarette hinged holding arms are secure.
The push button clasp opens and closes as it should and is secure.
There is a monogram of the initials, "S.P.A." on the front.
Mild marks on both exterior sides commensurate with age and usage.
There are also two dings on the "S.P.A." cover and one ding on the other cover.
There is a wee bit of rust at the corners of the hinge holding the front and back cover together.
The rod inside the hinges must be steel. This case can also be used as a business card holder.
R. Blackinton & Co. was in business between 1862 - 1967.
