Nova Scotia Folk Art wooden popular duck handmade - mid century recycled wood

Fantastic antique Nova Scotia folk art. Handmade wooden duck sitting in the water. Not dated or marked but appears to be from the 1930s - 60s. Seems to have been made from a recycled wooden sign. There is a piece missing from the beak but I think this just adds to its charm.

It measures approximately 7.5 inches high and 6.5 inches across. A great piece popular of Nova Scotia folk art.
