Product code: VTG 20pc Imperial Candlewick (stem popular 3400)
This dishware collection consists of pieces that belonged to my grandparents. Although the pattern was produced between 1936 all the way through 1984, I'm assuming these dishes were purchased toward the beginning of this time span. Imperial Candlewick was named after a style of embroidery favored in colonial times (called candlewicking) and quickly gained popularity for it's simple, yet always elegant, design. This classic flatware assortment includes: 3 (8") salad plates, one (3 1/2") sugar bowl lid, one (11") serving tray/shallow float bowl, 5 cup & saucer sets (saucers 5 1/2", cups 2 3/4" tall × 3 1/4" @ mouth), 2 S&P sets--one set etched, one plain (both 3 1/2" tall), and finally, one popular S&P service tray (5 1/4" × 3"). Some flaking/damage to plate on plain S&P tops. See pics. The tops of the etched ones appear to be Sterling or much higher quality plate.
