This is an early 1930s William Spratling 980 silver (purer than sterling) button from Taxco, Mexico. Nicely square and very deep at 3/8", the button has a shank on the back for attaching to clothing. A rare find!

Size: 11/16" across; 3/8" deep; Grams: 8 (quite heavy for a single button)
Condition: Good vintage - I have only lightly buffed, you may wish to polish more - surface wear
