Stunning Highly Embroidered Vintage Chinese Kua Wedding Dress or Outfit. It is actually 2 pieces--A top and skirt. The skirt is an A line and solid pleated red satin with 7 panels all around the skirt. Each panel has an embroidered in gold a stylized Happiness symbol with highly embroidered popular Ombre pink and purple floral accents all trimmed in gold embroidery. Each panel is trimmed in gold. The top is also matching and highly embroidered. It It has the same design in the center as the skirt panels. It also has a Phoenix embroidered on each side of the center design. The Phoenix tail drapes down and is really beautiful. The skirt has a button and a zipper at the waist and the top has a zipper down the front and a fancy red and gold frog at the neck. Both of the top and the skirt are a CHINESE size Small. The top has a label, but I didn't have enough room to post a picture. If you want to see it-- just ask, I can send it to you. It is written in Chinese. The top has an Asian neckline, long sleeves, and is lined with red satin. the skirt is lined too in red satin. This is a fabulous outfit!!!! The skirt is 38 inches long, has a 26 inch waist, and very full in the hips--it is A line. The jacket has slightly padded shoulders, is 22 inches long, 25 inch long sleeves, 17 1/4 inches from underarm to underarm, the waist is 32 inches, and 36 inches at the hips. The item has a size tag of a Small -this is a Chinese size and it is different from a US size, it is equal to around a US size XS--but please read the measurements to make sure it will work for you. You can either wear this or even hang it as art. It could be your wedding dress and then hang it as art!!! It is that wonderful-- it would be the center of attention and quite the conversation piece in any home, with any decor. I have hung many Chinese embroidered pieces in my home and really enjoy them. It is in excellent vintage condition. Possibly some other very minor soiling and/or loose threads- but I didn't notice any. It is clean, it smells nice, and is from a smoke free home.
