Pair of original scrapbook pages from the NY Tribune, 1913,
concerning the theatre appearances of the scandalous "Evelyn Nesbit Thaw"
at the Hammerstein's Roof Garden in New York City.
Apparently she performed some dancing for several weeks here in August of 1913.
The clips include a few ads and blurbs about the show as well as some fine
images.
There is also one article and photo to announce her upcoming appearance in NY.
There are a fewer other unrelated theatre items attached as well,
including popular a show at the Hippodrome concerning the new Panama Canal,
images of swimmer Billy Schultz, and actress Marie Flynn.
The large double-sided page is 17-1/2 x 11-1/2.

This was one of many scrapbook pages acquired recently.
Many were in poor condition and had to be discarded, but this double-side is one
of the lucky ones to survive.
Other than the expected age discoloration, it remains in VG condition. The old
paper
has some minor tears around the border, but this does not affect the historical
content.
