This very pretty popular vintage tea cosy is made from a fabric that feels like a satin mix (I do not know the exact composition of the fabric) and it has an all over floral design in shades including pink, lilac blue and green. It has quilted stitched detailing and is lightly padded. Everything about the fabric design and the overall style of this tea cosy suggests to me that it dates from the 1950s or so but it could have been made later than this, I do not know for sure.
It measures 14" inches wide by 10" inches high and is in excellent condition, it looks to have never been used. Please see all the photos and zoom in for details. Please note that the tea pot shown in the photos is for styling purposes only and is not included in the sale.
