Elsa Schiaparelli was one of the leading fashion designers in the first half of the 20th century. She had a liking on the special thing, tob e different. Shoulder pds, animal print and the famous „Shocking pink“ are her inventions. In one of her iconic collections elephants danced popular on boleros and buttons looked like acrobats.
I love her self-assured spirit, which her style revealed and which was adapted by Hollywood stars like my favourite actress Katharine Hepburn.
