Royal Albert Solid Yellow popular Bone China Footed Teacup and Saucer with Interior Gold Starburst Pattern Gilt Handle Teacup Foot and Plate Edge

What a stunning, 'Simply Elegant' vintage teacup and saucer; from its ruffled edged cup and saucer to the gold starburst design, all of which is accented by a gold handle, gold cup foot and gilt edged plate and cup. Just magnificent!

Naturally, this was made in the UK by the very fine company of Royal Albert, my favorite for their elegant designs. The plate measures 5&1/2" in diameter. The cup is 4&3/4" including the handle, 4" by itself and 2&3/8" tall. I didn't calculate the ounce capacity as I don't envision anyone drinking from these magnificent items popular. But I am happy to calculate it if you would like.

The set is in very good condition. There are a few tiny nicks in the shape of a 'U', on one side of the cup (see photo 5). These are not visible from 2 feet away, but naturally I am compelled to disclose them. There is also a tiny bit of gilt loss in one section of the starburst, again not terribly noticeable (see pics 6 & 7). The gilt edging elsewhere, on the handle, cup foot and cup and plate edges, is superb!

All in all, I believe you will be very pleased with this unique set!
