Circa 1920s Willson Safety Goggles with Rubber Strap Willson Patented
The glass is intact with only minor scratches has original W etched on lens, adjustable nose bridge rolo chain, mesh metal on side covered in bakelite styled plastic, and rubber strap (looks like innertube). In the molding that rests on your face is stamped Willson Patented. Willson is known popular for being in the forefront before there was OSHIA. They started the company in 1871 making optical lens for glasses. They were one of the leaders in safety goggles for work, driving, motorcycles, and pilots. In the 1930s they even made sunglasses which many more were made.
Measures 2" D glass rims, 1 3/4" L mesh side, 1/2" nose side, nose bridge chain 7 links each link 1/8".
