Paperback Junk popular Journal

This paperback junk journal measures 9" x 5-1/4" x 1-1/2", and it consists of 180 pages in three signatures. I had fun going through my collection of new, vintage and antique books to select pages to put into this journal. Most of the pages have been embellished in some way with an image or collage, but I have left plenty of space for your art and/or writing. There are lots of flips and pockets filled with tags and journaling cards, and there is room for you to add in more.

I made the cover from a coffee-dyed large business envelope, which I reinforced with heavy watercolor paper. I fashioned the spine from an unfinished crewel embroidery piece rescued from a thrift store. The front cover remains a functional pocket. And I have added eyelets and baker's twine to tie the journal closed.
