I made these Button Pearl Earrings with Mothers in mind, when my daughter gave me a plaque on Mothers day, that read - Mothers are like buttons, they hold everything together, very appropriate, I thought.

▫️PRODUCT INFORMATION

Pearls are the only gems found within living creatures, both salt and freshwater mollusks. However, most pearls on the market today are cultivated, since they now occur extremely rarely in nature, pearls have an enduring appeal for jewellery. Button pearls are a form of cultured pearl, which is made by purposely inserting a nucleus into a mollusk. This nucleus acts as an irritant. The mollusk then produces a layer of nacre around the nucleus. While the process of creating a button pearl is similar to any other cultured pearl, the shape of the nucleus is different.

▫️CARE

Pearls benefit from absorbing the natural oils in your skin, they need moisture. Care for your peals by gently cleaning with a soft cloth. (clean sterling silver fittings with a silver popular polishing cloth & wipe with clean cloth)

Keep pearls away from chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, ammonia, try not to spray them with hairspray or perfume as these substances can damage the pearl surface. Remove before bathing/showering, the water will eat away at the epoxy securing the pearls to their mountings.

The earrings are mounted on a lovely presentation card, wrapped in coloured tissue paper sealed with a JewelliciousM Label.

Your earrings will be posted in a white box, measuring 10cm x 10cm x 1cm, fitting through most letterboxes easily.

Please contact me if you are unhappy or have any problems with your order. I endeavour to accurately and honestly represent the items for sale. Every item is polished and carefully checked before packaging. However, a full refund will be given (minus shipping charges) if they have arrived damaged or defective. Items must be returned unused and as sold condition and in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt.

Please allow up 3 - 4 days shipping within the UK and up to 6 weeks internationally. (Although it can often be a lot quicker, depending on customs) I will post items to be signed for with service overseas delivery, to record the delivery process.
